Local customers gather there, food is good and not too commercially processed, Last visit we only had time for coffee and a snack. The banana pudding was just like I remembered. Other times we had traditional bteakfasts and lunches. All good, with attentive, smiling servers

What a fabulous find. We were traveling and I thought we were going to Village Inn restaurant. However, it was The Village Restaurant. The food, service, price and hospitality was great. We went back the next morning. If I lived closer I would be there every week. Customer service is top notch. On our second visit to our surprise, someone graciously secretly paid for our breakfast. In case the owner knows who the secret angel was please tell them "We Thank you" from Colorado.

Overall a good experience. This was my second dining experience alone. The waitress are friendly and helpful. Since my last visit the menu has been updated. It was basic for a breakfast meal but excately what I want. I would recommend and go back. Village breakfast and orange juice. Cost a little over 10.

Quote from my 6 year old - "I wish I had 100 thumbs so I could give them 100 thumbs up!". Seriously delicious cooking. The nicest staff. Affordable prices with large portions. This has become our new routine to stop by for a meal after camping in the area.

The lunch plate was delicious, unfortunately no cheesecake but the lemon meringue was a great substitute, I look forward to a return visit. The staff was very courteous and welcoming.
